I spotted this tree a few days ago while hiking in the Ouachita National Forest here in Arkansas. I will let you decide what you think the growth on this tree looks like to you.
It has been awhile since I posted anything on this blog mainly because deer gun hunting started here in Arkansas last month and I don't get out in the forest to photograph while this is going on.
I'm not seeing much wildlife and the main reason is that they hunt deer with dogs here in this part of Arkansas. The dogs have been chasing deer for almost a month and this has pushed wildlife into hiding. The deer have gone nocturnal.
Hopefully, things will go back to normal soon and I will be able to photograph the wildlife in this area.
I have also been staying away from the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma because they also allow hunting.
Winter is just a slow time for me in photographing wildlife.
